After reading this article from Faber from the British club runner Adharanand Finn who moved to Kenya with his family to discover the secrets of Kenyan runners’ phenomenal success. He took a camera with him, and he talks about his experiences and we see what life was like, as he discusses his book Running with the Kenyans

After staying in the training camps, ate the foods for more than 6 months, ate the foods Finn found out that there are many secrets to why the Kenyans runners are so well such as the optimism, the lifestyle, the attitude, genetically they are so built to run distance race.

One of the things that Kenyans often mention is one of their secrets is the famous Gali ( maize flour poured into boiled water and stirred it is as stick as it can be) which they eat every day. The Kenyans for recovery which is one of the most important parts of the training, Finn discovered that the Kenyans will sleep a awful lot and go to bed very early.

The main thing that he has learned from the kenyans is their mental outlook to running although they are professional althletes they still have a very relaxed outlook to it having a great internal optimism so that they will always succed.
